I think the closest you can get to is buying from moviezyng since they manufacture all MOD releases. They don't have sales often but unlike Amazon they never charge more than the listing price of what the titles are suppose to be sold for. Amazon has been inflating a lot of WAC titles lately...

Maybe they used the old transfer for the trailer but will reveal the new restoration when it plays in theaters? If they are going to restore it for a bluray release, I would think the 65th anniversary event would be the best time to permire it. I guess will find out soon.

Someone pointed out on facebook that at the end of the trailer for the 65th anniversary event of High Society, it says buy it now on digital and Blu-ray. I wonder if this means it will be released on blu-ray as one of WAC December titles.

Not really a musical but Cyd Charisse still has some great dance scenes in it. I'll definitely be getting Party Girl, National Velvet and Lullaby Of Broadway.

I hope so, that's one I've been waiting for! I remember someone saying that the podcast said the original elements were not in good shape but that hasn't stopped WAC from finishing other successful restorations.

I'm glad to see they were able to finish the restoration for In The Good Old Summertime. Been waiting for this since they talked about it on the POD cast.

There are some good titles there especially Kitty Foyle. I'd be surprised to see no musical releases next month since we usually get at least one. I'm crossing my fingers that the restoration for In the Good Old Summertime was completed and will finally get released 🤞

Take Me Out To The Ball Game was on my wishlist. I'm hoping we get Babes On Broadway and Babes In Arms in the same month like WAC did for Strike Up the Band and Girl Crazy. Hopefully we get Judy and Mickey's final two musicals on blu-ray before WAC calls it quits

My instincts were right, i knew Annie Get Your Gun would be coming soon to Blu-ray. i should of held off on buying the DVD lol. I bet this will be another stunning looking film on blu-ray.

Is the 2000 DVD and the 2017 WAC the exact same transfer? i ordered the older just because i prefer the pressed DVD's and i assumed they would be the exact same transfer.

I'm thinking Annie Get your Gun has to be coming up soon, It seems to be one of the few films left that was adapted from a popular Broadway musical that WAC hasn't released yet. I just bought it on DVD so with my luck it will be announced as one of next months titles 😂
