The whole Jimmy subplot should have ended up on the cutting room floor IMO. It felt SO tacked-on and added absolutely nothing of substance to the film, which is bloated enough as it is.

I'd say that it doesn't meet the criteria of this thread. Cloud Atlas is NOT a great movie, and it's not ruined by a single performance. ;)

Methinks your assessment is a bit off. The various Batman films are based on the comic book character, not an "action figure."
