I watched it last night. It has not aged well IMO. Easily my least favorite of the four Indy films, and I think the only thing it really has going for it is that Karen Allen showed up.
Well, I broke down and sprung for the Best Buy steelbooks. A couple of rewards certificates helped, and I'll probably sell the codes, so in the end I won't be out much more than I'd have spent on my DDD order. Can't wait to watch Raiders, which IMO is just a perfect film from start to finish.
Yeah, the BB steelbook has magically appeared as available for store pickup in my area too. But DAMN, a hundred bucks? While I'd love to just go grab it today, with sales tax it would be a whopping $48.56 *more* than my preorder at Deep Discount. I think I'll wait. ;)
I've ordered several Arrow releases from them over the past year and, other than generally slow shipping speeds, haven't had any issues. I know that others have, but then again, Amazon has its own shipping/availability problems.
Except at Deep Discount, where it's still available for pre-order at $64.99. :)

More power to you Josh, but CS is in a very distant 4th place for me as far as Indy movies go. The best thing about the film was seeing Karen Allen back as Marion. The rest of it was just a slog IMO, and I won't even get into the crappy CGI sequences or Shia Labeouf vine-swinging with monkeys...
Which if course is entirely possible. However, I'll wait until we start seeing some reviews of the actual discs before I begin drinking myself into depression. :)
With the exception of Capshaw's histrionics, I still like Temple of Doom, much more so than Crystal Skull. As Scott points out, for under $15 a film the DD deal is a clincher.
I don't even really care about new bonus content. I'm thinking about the bare minimum here - they could have, at the very least, either included Blu-rays of the remastered 4K UHD data or released remastered Blu-rays separately. I doubt that decision would have anything to do with Lucasfilm.
