I was going to cancel and only resubscribe on an as-needed basis, but my AMEX card was offering a deal on the bundle, with a twist. I get Disney+ (no ads) + Hulu (ads) + ESPN (ads) for $13.99 a month with a $7.99 per month statement credit, bringing the total monthly cost down to $6. I could...
Might be worth a shot...

You're comparing a show shot on modern, and probably native 4K, equipment with a film from the 1970's. 4K is nice, but it's benefits are very much dependent on the source material. There's a LOT of variation in quality, particularly when you add streaming to the equation. Rogue One and The Rise...
Same here. The Disney library doesn't interest me much, since like you I've already seen or own all of it that does. The Mandalorian is the only thing that brings me back. Same with the Disney Movie Club. Once I'd purchased what I wanted and fulfilled my obligation, there was nothing left to...
Yes, absolutely, and that's a huge drawback to buying streaming media IMO. But, they're not going to remove a title that you've purchased from your digital library. You may not like a change they make, but you still have the ability to view the film because you've paid for that right. This...
Don't know if this has been posted yet, but Rise of Skywalker is now scheduled to hit Disney+ on May 4th, two months earlier than originally announced:

Obviously, you didn't get what I was saying, which was that once the disc has been RELEASED, it's impossible for a studio to modify its content. One of the advantages of physical media over streaming.
Actually, if you have a physical disc in-hand, the chances of it being modified for content are zero. It's locked once it's released. I'm sure you realize this, but your comment wasn't worded too clearly. ;)
In the U.S., you can get Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN for $13 a month. Add Netflix with 4K for $17 and it's a total of $30 a month. You can quit any time with no penalty, then resubscribe whenever you want to, as your needs change. Try that with cable. ;)
I'm sure it bugs a lot of users, myself included, but not enough for them to cancel because of it. Amazon does this too, although I was pleasantly surprised last night watching the last Season 3 episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel when it did NOT happen, because there was no "next episode" to...
You have 400 Mbps internet service? I haven't noticed much, if any, banding on D+, including The Mandalorian, with my 80 Mbps incoming pipe. It looks pretty fantastic on my setup (ATV+ 4K/LG 65" OLED), and there's a lot of 4K + Atmos content.
