One advantage I’ve noticed with the new unit is that I can now smoothly jump back (or fast forward) 10 seconds or farther without buffering. That could be because of an improved modem, or my memory of how the old unit operated could be faulty, but I like being able to rehear dialogue.

My iTunes 4K movies are now identified as HD when I play them. In fact, while I have a 4K HDR category in my library on my iPad app, there is no such category on my TV app. Don’t know if that’s a change.
