Your post pretty much sums up how stores feel about some of these great releases. Even Best Buy though has gotten really bad about carrying classic tv shows on dvd. I doubt any of the stores will carry The Jeffersons or The Facts of Life complete series on dvd or Hart to Hart….but i was...
The box set is too big for WalMart to carry. Walmart has gotten pretty bad about carrying classic tv shows. I am surprised Season 1 on DVD wasn't there though. I wonder if Target or Best Buy might have season 1.
Hahahahahaha….I hear you….I got Batman, WKRP and The Jeffersons…..I bought season 1 of the Wonder Years…going to buy the releases for WY separately instead of complete series.
And its not even blu ray…I bought one episode too in HD and the picture quality was great but for some reason Amazon's audio is very low….it was the same on another show I bought but when I received the dvd the sound quality was awesome.
Glad I read this thread. I had no idea the 66 movie had come out on Blu Ray. I bought my copy off of Amazon but also picked up the Blu Ray DVD movie last week. I have to say the picture quality for the movie is outstanding and I am enjoying watching Batman all over again in HD.
So there are two different releases?? Why isn't the movie not included in the Amazon version one? And why 2 different sets? Also the batmanondvd version is also available on Blu Ray or only regular DVD?
I can't wait to get my copy soon!! The only way to get the Blu Ray version is to buy the entire series. Season 1 so far is only being released on regular DVD.
