STAR was a very underrated film when it was first released. Business was not up to expectations and Fox shortened the film and released it under a new title THOSE WERE THE DAYS for general release. It is definitely demands a bluray release..I am still waiting for a bluray release...

It was a great movie when I saw in in 70mm and again on dvd in recent years. The remake was not so good,however. Why did they bother remaking a classic film?

I saw I about 100 or more times as we screened in 70mm for 41 weeks.

Here's hoping that EVENING PRIMROSE will be released on bluray in the future..
