Warner's regular release schedule is anemic at best. Theatrical films are what we're getting on a regular basis, and once in a while the studio will throw us a bone like they did last September with Poltergeist and The Lost Boys UHDs. Shout Factory has licensed from them, as has Criterion, but...
I wish Warner would mix it up a little and include more post-1970 films. Every new announcement block is made up almost entirely of Golden Age titles. Where are Best Friends (1982), Curly Sue (1991)? How about some unreleased Steven Seagal films? Not exactly Oscar winners but not every release...
