    That was in the old days. I've heard through the grapevine that more than one company already approached Disney about the Fox library and were given the big brush-off. Criterion may still be able to pick off an occasional title, but it will inevitably be an "AFI title" that's already available...

    There's nothing to prevent Disney from sub-licensing older Fox titles to an indie like Kino or Shout!; they'd do all the work and Disney would simply sit back and collect its cut. But The Mouse has made it clear it's not interested in doing that, so that would seem to prove it's content to bury...
