I saw an interview with Wellman, the one by Richard Schickle, and he said he asked to direct another Tarzan film, because he enjoyed the experience so much, but they wouldn’t let him. So I’m thinking he must have contributed a fair amount to have fun and want to do another one. 🤷‍♂️

One other thing George Feltenstein mentioned was that he’s hoping the Tarzan Blu sells well enough to allow more Tarzans to be released. I going to buy the Tarzan disc in order to help get the one William Wellman directed released. Also, to do my part and help the Archive. The more they sell...

Why would they leave that off? That makes no sense! But I’ve seen them leave DVD bonus features off the Blu Ray before. Can’t understand it, especially if it was produced in-house and they own it.

VERY HAPPY for SOLOMON. Hopefully they got rid of that horrible grape jelly blob that appears here and there. While imo it didn’t deserve a nomination for BP, it certainly is a classic adventure and good fun. I look forward to adding it to my collection and viewing it again!!
