What would you like to see next from criterion?

For some people, for various good reasons, a region-free player is not an option.

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Earlier this year there was a report that Criterion and Warner's had entered into deal.....has it ever been confirmed?

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Not disdainful, simply disinterested. There's a difference.

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Don't want to speak for Ed, but I when I say classic, it's in reference to pre-1970 Hollywood films which my tastes prefer. I'm always happy for those who get their wishes in other areas but for me there's no interest in these other titles (with the exception of The Killers). That's why I said...

What would you like to see next from criterion?

I guess we both are in the minority. My Criterion purchases have slowed to a crawl this year. I've been told I'm not Criterion's target audience.

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Theme was probably the wrong term....but they usually have at least one horror/suspense title in October. I'm thinking The Brood for this year.

What would you like to see next from criterion?

I have truly given up trying to anticipate what Criterion will release each month. Outside of the New Year's Day Drawing and the newsletter cartoon each month, there's really no telling month to month. I know what I want to see from them, but generally if one title each month blows my hair back...

What would you like to see next from criterion?

I think The Lady Eve has a shot because of the spate of Sturges releases lately but I have my doubts about the others.

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Amazing then if you look at yearly box office results by country, US films top the box office in just about every country in the world every year. A few countries in Asia are about the only exceptions. I guess no one in the world has any taste..... :)

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Seriously? Look at the list of films Criterion has released since it's inception on Laserdisc, DVD and BD.....hundreds of pre-1970 HOLLYWOOD films ranging from Hitchcock, Powell/Pressburger, Hawks, Ford, Lubitsch, Sturges, etc. While I would certainly agree that Transformers would not fall into...

What would you like to see next from criterion?

Just people's personal preferences. For me personally, I don't collect much of anything other than classic (pre-1970) Hollywood films, over 70% of my BD collection of over 400 films is in this era. I have little interest in foreign films, anime, world cinema, etc. And, if you look at most...

What would you like to see next from criterion?

I know.....just being sarcastic as I posted this list over at "that" Criterion forum a while back. Got blasted by all the elitists over there for wanting "trifles", "bits of fluff" etc over the more "important" Criterion films should release before these......
