I am puzzled by the lack of a Blu ray release of BENEDICTION, a film I enjoyed a lot. No domestic USA release at all and only a DVD in the UK. Since it's a Terence Davies film, I'm hoping that maybe Criterion might release it - fingers crossed!
Just noticed that Dona Herlinda and Her Son is getting a showing at MoMA as part of a Guillermo del Toro tribute (it stars his mother and he was a producer.) I think this should be ripe for a new release on Blu-ray.

Am I the only one who feels that Derek Jacobi was slighted by not having his picture on the BD cover? He is, after all the leading actor. Perhaps Strand thought they'd grab the James Bond fans....
