What's the change? They are waiting on the Justice Dept to approve their sale to Amazon, I see them doing as little as possible and then we will see what kind of work Amazon will do on those films.
I agree with you. I love Lee Remick, Donald Pleasence and others in their performances. I bought the Blu-ray, even though I knew it was terrible from reports from this thread, but knew it was better than the Blu-ray.
And how long have we waited for a better release of The Greastest Story Ever Told? I think around 8 years and never a nugget of a new one. This is the one and only Hallelujah Trail, so get it now or not. There will never be a better one.
I blind bought the laser disc also and found, to me, a gem I never heard of. However, most friends I showed it to were not that impressed. I’m looking forward to this release and can retire that horrible DVD.

I have found the Olive is pretty shut mouth on titles, specs and extras (if any) until they make a formal announcement. Which is usually the first week of the month the titles are released.
It’s A Mad Mad Mad Mad World is hilarious and everyone I’ve showed it to agrees. However, Hallelujah Trail does not have that same love since there is not a good Blu or even a good DVD to show, hopefully that will be rectified.
