Seasons 1 and 2 sort of set the tone and give you a good background, but in my opinion, the series starts to explode in season 3. I loved them all, even the final season (full of beautiful female immortals, Sandra Hess rocks :D). But you won't regret getting 3, 4 and 5. Enjoy!
