I liked the call back to the previous episode with Gloria having trouble with the touchscreen on her phone. I love when writers remember those kinds of details.
I can understand now him being an obstruction since in his mind, he's got the evidence he needs, but from the start he was totally unwilling to listen to Gloria.
Have to say that the Sheriff is a low point in this season. For a series with such great characterization, it's dissapointing to have a character that serves no other purpose than to be an obnoxious obstruction. Odenkirk kind of had that role in Season One, but at least he remained likeable.

Not to sound mean, but I can't hold it in. Is it just me, or does Coon have the biggest larynx ever witnessed in a female? Normally I wouldn't say anything but watching it undulate during her scenes is actually distracting to me.
I think we can all agree that Thewlis' portrayal is excellent. He's vile, but so compelling. I do get a little weary of Varga speaking riddles and metaphors so much. Just get to the goddamn point.
