Most DD 5.1 and dts 5.1 sound tracks do create a rear center channel image when forced into the EX/ES mode! If your waiting for EX/ES releases to engage your EX/ES then your waisting alot of great EX action on movies that do have the information to fill that channel just as a so called EX/ES...
It would be cool if some release along the way would release a true dts Es 6.1 mix (not backwards compatible with dts matrix) along with out the matrixed info in the Side Surrounds. I know the decoder would still be active trying to remove that material but if it is not there I think it would...
But if DTS wanted to they could (but haven't) release a soundtrack mix with standard ES discrete and a true ES discrete mix with out the center info added in the Surr L/R. So the possibility software/hardware wise is there just not used.

Troy, seeing how DVD-A is a struggling format and DTS CD is a dead format why not change or add DVD-A to the DTS ES CD heading. Perhaps if readers see DVD-A has DTS ES tracks perhaps it will help the format.

Amazon is listing Casper as:
Available Audio Tracks: English (Dolby Digital 5.1), English (5.1 DTS ES), French (Dolby Digital 5.1), Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1)
Looks like the DTS will be ES, not sure if the DD is EX?

DTS also states these discs are DTS ES 6.1! They are DVD-A disc just like Shedaisy!
Sheila Nicholls: "Wake"
Studio Voodoo: "Studio Voodoo"
Insane Clown Posse: "THE WRAITH: SHANGRI-LA"
Perhaps these new DVD-A disc's deserve their own category on your list seeing how they are not DTS "CD's".
Just stumbled on another DTS ES discrete DVD-A disc yesterday at Circuit City,
Shedaisy "The Whole Shebang".
From the DTS link above:
SheDAISY - THE WHOLE SHEBANG

You know I remember seeing a cardboard stand-up ad for "Wild Wild West" in a theater way back in 1999 and saw a Dolby Digital EX logo on it, I remember thinking "Cool". I'm not sure if they transferred it to the DVD but I would bet it is!

I found this on the JP III review from Widescreenreview.com:
Soundtrack:
The DVD features Dolby® Digital and DTS® Digital Surround™ 5.1 soundtracks, both of which are Surround EX-encoded
(though not credited as such on the DVD...
Something smells fishy here, Jurassic Park III DD EX but not DTS ES? I would be willing to bet it is ES also. Remember DTS is Steven's Love Child!
Also and this is just my my honest opinion, The matrixed EX and ES are nothing more than the mixer a little more aware of the back rear channel in...
