Chad, I'm interested in hearing your impressions of the Denon AVR-985s vs. the Yamaha HTR-5760. I'm also with you on the silver color used by the Denon receivers - like it a lot. It's much more of a gun metal color than a silver like is used by Sony on their ES receivers.

Stephen, I had forgotten about Dakmart. At the price they are selling the AVR-3805 (both silver and black versions) - it hardly seems worth it to save a few bucks and buy a receiver off of eBay. I'd have no issue with running a refurbished 3805.
