    "Brighter" does not equal "better" IMO. Personally, I think the Synapse color/density-corrected master of VAMPIRE CIRCUS looks wonderfully film-like, whereas the uncorrected version of the master shown on MGM-HD looks WAY too bright, like an uncorrected one-light scan. Vincent
