The Chicago Code - season 1

That's basically where it felt rushed to me. In the span of about 10 minutes, Killian gets murdered and their case is dead but they get lucky and uncover evidence that Jarek's brother had against Gibbons. It just seemed like a lot to put in such a short time but I'll take 'rushed' over a...

The Chicago Code - season 1

Mid-season replacements end at the same time as most shows with a full season but they generally start in January or February. By starting later, they only need a dozen or so episodes to make it to May/end of the TV season.

^ Yeah, mid-season shows usually have 12 or 13 episodes. The last episode did feel a little rushed but it would have been the same episode whether it was the end of the season or the series.

Cable channels still want to run good serialized shows (Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, The Killing, Mad Men) and that's part of the reason why so many talented dramatists have abandoned network TV for cable. While network TV might be nearly dead for dramas, the networks do still have some...

I could be wrong but I think the last two episodes are played over two weeks.

The Chicago Code - season 1

I hope they catch Delroy Lindo in the finale because the show got cancelled. Not that I keep up with ratings all that much but I thought this show was doing alright (if only because it has House as a lead-in) but I guess Fox needs to cancel nearly everything they produce in order to pay for...

The Chicago Code - season 1

Shawn Ryan created The Shield. Outside of the more obvious aspects (like they're both cop shows and the stories appear to be a season-long arc rather than stand alone episodes), they're pretty different from each other in my opinion.
