Speaking from a point of view of the US constitution, the films are his property and he has the "right" to sell it in whatever form he sees fit The only "right" we as consumers have is not to buy it. I hate when ppl bandy around words like "rights" in completely...
I would say the dialogue audio is quite inconsistent, i totally agree with the comments made by those two posters. On the other hand, I understand that the films are old and have been used so often... but c'mon, it can get better than this, can't it? As for the rest of the audio, the score...
Doesn't surprise me, Neil, Skywalker Sound transfers always insult John William's scores by putting them at lower volume. And if you remember AOTC in the theaters, the score was about 75% volume of what it needed to be. go back and watch your Ep. 1 & 2 DVDs and you'll see this is the case there...
