Indeed. I also screenshot the Fahrenheit equivalents, but chose to keep the post simple. I might post those when we get our first 70 F day, as we didn't quite get there yesterday!
CHEERS! :)
We're having our first 20 Degree Celsius day!
Meanwhile, in our old digs...
Definitely not missing the long long near north winters! Just something to remind myself of in the midst of this pandemic!
CHEERS! :)
Since getting my new Betty Crocker Coffee Maker (To replace the "Black & Decker" that fritzed out after only 6 months!), and also replacing the permanent filter with the Melitta Filters, my coffee brews so much nicer, and disposal of the filters don't cause an unholy mess! :)
CHEERS! :)
Last night, my HRF 3000 Wireless Headphones ceased to accept any kind of charge. Now, whenever I plug in the Micro USB to USB-A wire, the Red light on the Headset shuts off within about 20 - 25 seconds. I did try a few different wires to rule out the possibility of a wire gone faulty being the...
I was very pleased to find out the other day at my Opthalmology appointment that my eye pressures were actually down from last October!
Also, Monday was our one year moving day anniversary. My, how time flies!
CHEERS! :)
My first ever colonoscopy was this morning, for which I was pleasantly sedated throughout. The medical team even managed to redress me before I awoke!
Best of all, nothing showed up in the results, so I'm good for another 10 years! :)
CHEERS! :)
It arrived at about 2:30 PM!
Also, I even managed to finagle a credit in the "Preface To The 2016 Edition" chapter (Mercifully highlighted to avoid a "Where's Waldo?" searching scenario! ;) )! Thanks, Randy! :)
I greatly look forward to many hours of reading and source checking...
My Amazon.ca order for Randy Skretvedt's LAUREL AND HARDY: THE MAGIC BEHIND THE MOVIES (2019 Paperback Edition) has arrived in London, according to the Amazon and Canada Post tracking! :)
CHEERS! :)
I was finally able to order the new 2019 paperback edition of Randy Skretvedt’s LAUREL AND HARDY: THE MAGIC BEHIND THE MOVIES, as a late Birthday present to myself. Since Randy Skretvedt first announced that he was working on a third edition of the above title way back in the late '00s, I've...
That being greeted with a Random Windows 10 Update is often a mere momentary inconvenience, rather than waiting for what often seems like an eternity. I should have got a Solid State Drive for my PC Laptop years ago!
My ONN Wireless Keyboard, which set me back less than $20, has thus far...
A few things this week:
- My first teeth cleaning in almost a year. It's also pretty awesome to be within a 5 minute walk of the Dentist's office, especially during a steady snowfall! :D
- Picked up my new Kingston Solid State Drive this week. Everything on my Acer Aspire PC Laptop runs so...
Major artery Oxford Street is just a few hundred yards down from our place, and yes, traffic on that street gets extremely congested, and vehicles often cross into the middle of pedestrian crossings at intersections, which makes driving all the more treacherous. It's one of the main aspects of...
- There's currently very little snow where we now live in London:
North Bay, by contrast, is experiencing their harshest winter in many years. (This doesn't please me, by the way! It's just an illustrator.):
- It appears that our son's financial situation will be soon seeing some...
Here's A Few Recent Positives:
We went to the Mrs' first Dentist Appointment this afternoon, which proved a very positive experience for her, which is a really nice change from the one in North Bay!
Had my first Eye Appointment last week. Our Optometrist is quite thorough and professional...
That our new Fibe TV setup requires nothing more than a single HDMI connection from the 4K Bell Box to our TV! Farewell to Octopuses! :D
TCM viewing! :dance::rock::dancing-banana-04::banana::drum:
CHEERS! :)
Thank you very much for your encouragement, Mike! It is much appreciated!
Thank you very much for your kind words!
While I can't promise no annoyances, I have good reason to suspect there will be more on the what pleases me end, including occasional trips to the local Drive-In! Yup, you read...
We had our final House inspection this morning, which went without a hitch. Just have to make sure we leave everything clean when we move out, and anything that doesn't belong to housing is removed from the premises.
T-Minus 15 days remaining! :)
CHEERS! :)
That my eye laser surgery is behind me. There's just 3 days of anti inflammatory eye drops to endure.
That just slightly over 3 weeks remains before moving day!
CHEERS! :)
I just downloaded the new Firefox Browser. It REALLY is a lot faster!
Also, there's no more page jumping! :dancing-banana-04:
CHEERS! :)
EDIT: Some page jumping still occurs, but is still less annoying with the much faster browser speed!
That our son is happy with where he's living, and doing well in his job!
That we've began the process of Apartment hunting!
That we might be able to move at the end of July, instead of the end of August. We have a chance at a lovely, two bedroom apartment, in a nice area, just minutes from...
