Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Hard to believe it's been a year! I can't help but feel a little sad, never again will I anticipate a movie like ROTS. I'll never care to go to the midnight showing of any movie again. :frowning: Unless of course they make more Star Wars movies. :) I may try to sit down and watch AOTC...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I saw it for the 7th and last time Saturday. Bittersweet, although I thought a few months ago would have been the last time so this was a nice suprise. Can't wait for the dvd and the big Star Wars weekend marathon that will be sure to follow!

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I think the scene that got me the most was Obi-wan realizing that Anakin was the father, perfect execution on Ewan's part. The music swells and then we see the carnage by Anakin's hands and his realizing of what he has become. The look on Anakin's face tells all. When Padme cannot answer...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

As luck would have it I ended up seeing ROTS again last weekend at the drive-in! Very cool! The closest one is 40 minutes away so we don't go very often. I haven't seen a Star Wars movie at the drive-in since ESB. I wish there was one a little closer , I love going.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I do sometimes wonder to myself how he got everything so right with ROTS , but missed the mark somewhat with the other two prequels. Don't get me wrong I love TPM and AOTC, but ROTS really made me realize how good they could have been.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I assumed it would get pulled from alot of theaters when War of the Worlds came out, but I didn't think Herbie or Perfect Man would push it out. :frowning:

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Saw it tonight for the fifth and possible last time. It is leaving my local theater tomorrow. The film still works for me. I like it more every time I see it. I believe sith sits right behind Empire as my second favorite Star Wars movie. I must admit I was a little sad tonight as my son...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Agreed, I didn't like the way the book portrayed that at all. I've seen it three times now and the only thing that really drives me crazy is the droid music when Anakin and the clones are walking up to the jedi temple.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Oh come on! Don't keep us in suspense everyday wondering if you have made another trip to the big screen. :) I haven't seen the movie since Friday, I need to go back soon.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

In the novel Palpatine reveals to Anakin he knows about his marriage to Padme. Anakin did not tell him.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Battle of the Hereos is fantastic. I didn't think it could get any better than Duel of the Fates, but I shouldn't have doubted Williams for a second. With that being said Anakin's betrayal is still my favorite on the soundtrack. Gave me cold chills the first time I heard it.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

If anybody hasn't read the book yet, I highly recommend it. The book really fleshes out the background details for many scenes in the movie and I'm only halfway through. Although it is somewhat frustrating as well. Several passages in the book should have made it into the movie. Here's hoping...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

Loved it! I thought I was going to cry when Obi-Wan told Anakin he was his brother. My biggest nit pick with the movie is the way they filmed the lightsaber scenes. Pull the damn camera back!
