Warner Bros... to follow up my original request made over 5 years ago..... thank you for releasing the Richard Donner Re-Cut of Superman II. Thanks to everyone who supported this petition over the years.... now go out and buy the Donner Cut!

I won't be celebrating til I see the actual specs on the DVD. I knew from the beginning that the thing that what would motivate Warner would be money...and capitalizing on the success of a new movie. I'm glad to see that rang true, I just hope they give us what we want and not a half-hearted effort.

I just hope Singer doesn't use any footage that would be used for Donner's Superman II. Outtakes are fine and I am all for it.... but if they use Brando's Superman II scenes for the new film, it would make the scenes redundant if we ever get them restored back into Superman II like we hope.

I really don't think it's a good idea to use Reeve's tragic passing as a motivation for future releases. Let's mourn his passing and not worry about what effect it will have on any DVD releases.
