    LG TV audio will not play through reciever.

    Having installed many home systems professionally, I've always considered using ARC to be a last resort - such as the current receiver does not support 4K pass thru, the user ran out of HDMI inputs on the receiver, a certain app is only available on the TV's smart OS, or the user is watching OTA...
