Parasite being a Korean film had nothing to do with its acclaim. If the film was in set in Rome spoken in ancient Latin it still would have been just as tremendous imo.

I seriously doubt that is going to happen. Parasite imo will absolutely stand the test of time.

As for my picks, I got 16/24 right this year. One of my worst showings ever.

As sad as I am that 1917 lost Picture and Director I can’t be too upset that Parasite won. It is an excellent film and certainly worthy of its wins. Wow.

I would say some not most. I would put it ahead of Little Women, The Irishman and Ford vs Ferrari. All the other nominees were better I thought.

Ha. True..but ya never know. Oscar voters can always mix things up ie.. Moonlight. I think if any film upsets 1917 it would be Parasite. So if Parasite loses Best International Film earlier in the evening.....in the words of OJ....Look Out!;)

Original Screenplay is going to Parasite. Once... will win for Pitt and maybe a technical award or two. 1917 will win the most major awards...deservedly imo.
