Correct It’s bringing in more. On a $36 million budget it will end its domestic boxoffice run with about $175 million. That’s about a 5X multiplier and much more than most Oscar films gross.

Both films are big hits and already profitable for their respective studios based on their budgets. Both these films couldn’t be more different and are aimed at different audiences. Let’s stop trying to create a competition between the two.

That will never happen. Holland is the only Spiderman for the foreseeable future. Why confuse the audience with two Spider-Man’s?

Well whaddya know. I enjoyed it. Much more than I thought I would. A lot better than the bad reviews it’s getting imo. I like the interplay between Venom and Eddie. And the action was fine. I wasn’t bored. And certainly seeing it in IMAX 3D helped.

Seeing it this morning in IMAX 3D. Very low expectations but with A List what the hell.
