I don't get it, why didn't Oklahoma try to return it? I know the odds were most definitely not in their favor, but it's better than not trying at all, isn't it?

It was in one of my friend's AOL IM away messages, I don't listen to ESPN Radio. :) I checked the website, and McPherson College has way more connections, so they aren't as deserving. :) http://espnradio.espn.go.com/espnrad...toryId=1681332
Since the true champion will never be able to be cleared up, I declare Miami University of Ohio the 2003/2004 national champions of Division I-A football. The reasoning (not mine): -OU (12-1) lost to K-state who lost to Marshall who lost to Miami (12-1) -USC (11-1) lost to Cal who lost to...
Play the top 32. 5 weeks of playoffs. Or the top 20, top 12 get in automatically, bottom 8 play wild card. If that's not enough, do the top 26. Top 18 are automatic, 19-26 play for the bottom two spots.
A couple plays ago on the Miami of Ohio vs. Bowling Green game, a couple guys on the Miami offensive line were holding hands at the line of scrimmage before the ball was snapped. I've seen other teams do this too, what's the point of this? To help the other guy stay balanced or tradition or...?
Q: Where was O.J. hiding right before the famous Bronco chase? A: On the University of Michigan campus. That's the last place you would find a football player. Q: How do you make University of Michigan cookies? A: Put them in a big Bowl and beat for 3 hours. Q: What's the difference...
Yeah, but then they got the ball back with a little less than two minutes left. They were down by 12, but two touchdowns in less than two minutes isn't completely unheard of. I just read the recap, they scored 3 times in the 4th quarter in less than 4 and a half minutes, so they could've done it...
I don't understand. I turned it on with a little less than two minutes left, I didn't turn the volume up because I was listening to something else, but why didn't TCU try for a touchdown and then do an onside kick? Were they doing that bad that the coach lost faith in them?
You're kidding, right, John? Michigan is #8 in the BCS, 13.02 points behind USC. Ohio State is behind them by 1.46 points. LSU, Texas, TCU, and Tennessee have to go down first. Strength of schedule is not going to help Michigan if they beat Ohio State.
Another blocked field goal in the final seconds to give NC State a chance to win in overtime over Florida State. ABC cut to the game from the OSU-Purdue game with the five final seconds left. Wow. What a Saturday.
OK, I was wondering if it was just my affiliate. You have a Kentucky affiliate, right, Dome? I don't know how far Cincinnati is from Lexington. How come OSU punted on 4th with 13 seconds left in the half? I would've thought that Tressel would've said "Go for it." IIRC, he's done it before in...
Has anyone other than me been following Miami of Ohio? They're #16 in the BCS poll this week, and this is the first time they've been nationally ranked since the 1976 preseason AP poll. Does anyone think that they could make one of the BCS Bowls?
