Posted in early December from A Word On Westerns. It’s clearly a Thanksgiving Parade but likely due to ratings, the television station billed it as a Christmas Parade and so have all subsequent postings.

You're very welcome Gary. I love your enthusiasm for Ozzie and Harriet having read about it in this forum for many many years before I ever joined. I didn't think I'd appreciate it as much as I do now.

Welcome Robert, Merry Christmas!
It's also here on YouTube, uncut and appears to be the same nice quality print!
I could swear playback was disabled everywhere other than YT and said free with commercials last week, but now it's playing here commercial free. Go figure?
ShoutFactory has uploaded tons of FKB episodes for free viewing including The Christmas Story.

Jack I still cannot stop watching Star In The Night (1945). I've sent it to...
This was uploaded on YouTube tonight as it originally aired with commercials. The quality is horrid but it certainly reflects the Christmas spirit of the era.
American Bandstand (1952-1989)
The Christmas Show from Saturday December 20, 1969
Last year on December 17th I had posted Jack Benny's New Look TV Special. Well, Jack must have been looking down from the heavens and realized he was getting cheated out of some residuals so he had it pulled from YouTube. About a week later it was again re-uploaded and stretched to a 16:9 aspect...
Brilliant. One of the best shorts I've ever seen. Thanks for the mention Jack. It's on YouTube and Archive.org.
Hoping by Christmas all you guys are feeling bit more festive!
Thanks so much for this very in depth response Gary!! I'd hate to rush through these classics. I've been savoring the entire series. Only about to begin season three soon. I figure if I don't get them all in this time around, I'll watch 'em next year. Too much television, so little time...
Gary so far I’ve only watched the first four Ozzie & Harriet Christmas episodes in broadcast order. Now that all these have become available from MPI, unlike folks back in the 50’s and 60’s, we can now watch these in any order that we choose.
Two questions:
1. What is your recommended viewing...
Here's a rarely seen Christmas episode simply because this series has never become available on physical media or streaming. It is one of my holy grails.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964)
I kicked off my Christmas viewing this morning with this little stinker. Possibly the worst movie in the history of film making but I made it all the way through and got a few laughs too. This is the HD version.

Continuing from my post above, the beauty of METV, and others like METV+, Decades, COZI, Heroes & Icons, AntennaTV, RetroTV, GetTv, and GritTv is that it introduces new generations of viewers to the classics we love for FREE. Unless many of us here...
For those off you who don't have an abundence of physical media and / or streaming options at your finger tips for about $30-50 bucks you can buy a good Indoor Powered TV Antenna and watch FREE TV including METV in HD. I receive about 71 channels in the NY Metro area, many of which are not...
Jack I echo what Jeff and Gary have written. I will add that I lost my mom at the end of July. Among many other realizations, I found that this forum and it's wonderful members, the friends I have made here, helped to get me through my sadness.
Peace to you during these toughest days.
It's called S04E01 Hold for Gloria Christmas but it's not what you would call an official Christmas episode. A stretch for sure. Who’s Gloria Christmas? Ask Santa Claus. :)

Oh you’re killin’ me. I consider myself a professional Pot Pie connoisseur. I buy fresh Chicken Pot Pies all over Long Island and NYC and have reviewed quite a few on Yelp, but I’ve never cooked one. Too lazy.
One more thing about Lassie. Aside from the lore and the incredible history dating...
