nice ep. i like how it ended on a high-note. does anyone know if cy really has a letter from wolcott confessing to his actions on killing the prostitutes? i don't remember wolcott writing one ... i suspect it's just a ploy on cy's part to keep blackmailing hearst?
that was my fave quote too ...
i went into work and saw deadwood being aired on one of the displays....right before that scene. i kinda thought to myself ... should i leave it on this channel? darned if i didn't go over there and change it. tbh, i kinda wished i left it ... just to see some customers reactions. ;)
i also thought that was the boys last breath. i loved how the entire camp seemed to be affected by the incident...as if they all came together for the boy. heck, it even seemed like al (on his balcony) was wondering what was going on. i didn't quite get the exchange between jarry, al and...
i'm with you there. while i find it interesting to listen to, i often can't get a grip on what is happening plot-wise. i pretty much have to read the synopsis on the hbo site...:D
i think that's just al being al. :) as for wolcott, if he is comfortable with wolcott keeping his mouth shut (which he is...he didn't even tell bullock) then perhaps joanie will live to turn another trick.
i also loved the "pep-talk". i thought that was very civil of al....guess he has a special place for merrick. i wonder if charlie ended up giving wolcott the info he needed anyway ... that's kind of the impression i got. plus the preview (even though hbo previews are alwayys misleading)...
well, i went over to the hbo site (imagine that). they have a nice summary written ... if you're as confused as i am ... it may come in handy. http://www.hbo.com/deadwood/episode/...eat_main_image
so what's the deal with the one chick? the recently fired woman? i couldn't figure out her role...she was hired from the dead husbands family, she was from the pinkerton's, etc. ? she's turning out to be quite a baddy. "come upstairs and f**k me." and yes, i still can't keep track of...
i'm definitely still digging this show. i like how the characters have more depth now...trixie, alma, even jane have more "depth" to them now. although, trixie seems to be pissed off all the time. ;) like justin said, the camp feels bigger...nice way of putting it. anyone know if that's how...
