I think you are confusing McCloud with McMillan & Wife as VEI have never put out any DVD releases of McCloud. The only releases of McCloud were from Universal- S1&2 back in 2005 (double-sided discs) and then in 2017 the re-released S1 on single-sided discs.

Seasons 2&3 were MOD releases while season 1 was originally a regular retail release.

Why do you say it will never happen- curious?! I don't understand what is going on with this show, why have they not released any more seasons?! This was a very popular series and I thought with season 1 being re-released in one collection (instead of the volume crap they originally released)...
