    James Bond in 4K UHD

Agree with your observation for what its "worth"! The laser discs looked good and the fake stereo sound on You Only Live Twice was outstanding.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

Don't hold your breath on 4k's for non Craig Bonds as NOTHING has been done in the way of any past anniversaries for these deserving picutres, other than different artwork, cases, etc with the same old transfers. And do not throw away the DVD's for You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret...

    James Bond in 4K UHD

Well put above regarding the dvd's. Barbara and Michael have nothing to do with this. They did nothing spectacular for the anniversaries of the series. The one reason you need to pick up the Blu for License To Kill is because it is the unrated version of the film. When those discs came out not...

    James Bond in 4K UHD

I know for a fact that the 4 K Connery films really show off his "Scotland Forever /Mum and Pop" tattoos. Never saw those on a 35mm print.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

I want the 4 K discs with film poster covers with the ORIGINAL sound, not the ones with redone effects, music loss issues (OHMSS) and a non blue filter looking You Only Live Twice.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

I viewed Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever when they ran. They were night and day difference in comparison with the current blu rays. I was .impressed

Robert sorry and many apologies. I know that when you start a conversation about James Bond, it ignites.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

The first James Bond film released in Stereo (Dolby-A) was Moonraker.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

All Bond points are valid as far as I am concerned.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

Agree with you on the quality, except again, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever. I was surprised how how good the first two Moore films, Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun looked. Some prints are British and others American. If Harry's...

Agree with you there on those credit issues.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

Even a bad 35mm print of Thunderball looked good. This was the pinnacle of Technicolor for the James Bond series.

    James Bond in 4K UHD

Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and Thunderball look good on Blu-ray. Lowry got it wrong with the slight blue tint added to You Only Live Twice, really destroyed the look of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, unflattering to the original 35's and a very muddy Diamonds Are Forever. As we...
