Is this what I think it is, i.e. the second Hou Hsiao-Hsien boxset that never seemed to materialize?

Anybody know if that Hou Hsiao-Hsien boxed set ever came out in Taiwan? I haven't been able to find it online. Was it Region 0 with English subs, or...?
Great news about those two new Kinos (Blue Kite and Dr. Akagi).
I presume the Fritz Langs from Image are a repackaging of the two titles previously available separately?
Pascal,
That's great info, thanks.
Having decided to buy it, I am actually having trouble getting hold of it now. I read on one site that it is out of print, and PokerIndustries doesn't allow you to add it to the shopping cart.

Does anybody know whatever happened to the rest of Hou Hsiou-Hsien's films in Region 1?
Wellspring released some, but I was hoping to get A Time To Live, A Time To Die and City of Sadness on DVD. Those two films seem to be odd omissions.

Can anybody recommend a site (online store or just a resource/database) that comprehensively lists non-region 1 DVDs in the way Amazon.com or Image Entertainment are good sites to determine whether a film is available on DVD in Region 1?
I believe there is a DVD of Jia Zhang Ke's Platform on...
Thanks Gary! That tip on the Region 0 Music Room is great, as that's definitely on my list to see when I've completed the Apu trilogy. Nice that I'll be able to get at least one Ray film on DVD! (Great site, by the way). Edited to say that after reading your review, perhaps I'll just grab a...
Anybody have info on whether Ray's Apu trilogy could get to DVD soon, and from whom?
I just watched Pather Panchali on VHS last night and couldn't speak for at least ten minutes afterwards, I was so moved. Now I'm keen to see the other two films, but I'd love to have the whole trilogy on...
