    Agreed about the cameos being distracting even though I liked the film. The only one that worked well was Weavers I thought. Murray was longer than I thought he would be but Ackroyds was terrible - almost like fan-fiction

    Well if that's how you want to look at it but then it's more the needs of the plot needing characters to disbelieve them or call them for help or get in their way - no different than the original really - it never struck me as anti male - the mayor's assistant was female and "against" them...

    Must be one of the few who thought this looked ok and certainly better than I was expecting given all the hatred that seems to have been vented online since it was announced. Nothing amazing, but the cast seem to have a nice chemistry between them. Will wait and see as Im sure we will see more...
