One scene that really caught my eye was the shot of Anakin asking the Jawas for directions to the Tusken camp. In the background is the open Jawa sandcrawler and you can actually see several Jawas inside the sandcrawler doing various things. Cant make it out properly on the DVD anyway.

I am really surprised ROTS didnt get a VFX Oscar, but what is the rub here is that a film which is clearly inferior in terms of effects got nominated. I enjoyed Narnia but the effects were awful in places. It would have been much easier to understand if Harry Potter or Batman was on the list...

Ewan's greatest performance ? I love Moulin Rouge but I still think he hasn't topped Trainspotting. But I agree that Ewan is the best thing about the prequel trilogy and the main reason why I prefer AOTC and ROTS to TPM (he is not in it enough).
