I definitely understand your point. I also realize that Nolan Ryan is the exception and not the rule, but Nolan Ryan even at his age now could probably beat the hell out of any of the 'roided up players today.
I think probably the saddest part is that barring a serious injury, Bonds is sure to break Aaron's record. He's only 97 back right now, so he'll easily break that in 3 seasons. If Bonds is guilty of using steroids I think his records should be disregarded as it is a disgrace to great players...
