If Surround is the problem - why not try the Revel Concerta series. Their surround S12 can be operated in Bipole, Dipole, monopole and even as 2 surround pairs (for 7.1). I think the MSRP would be about $2500 for F12 mains, C12 center and S12 surround. Am not sure if your budget...
