Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

The mistakes they list on that link, and still no mention of a continuity mistake that can be seen even in the trailer! I assumed it was just a trailer editing snafu, but it is the same in the film. When Anakin is choking Obi Wan and begins lowering him, in one shot Obi has his own...

Either way, Ewan aint American. That is why the spec-i-ality line was great to me at least. Was humorous and light to try and relieve the chancellor, not that he needed it.

Chuck, you are right that ESB is the best in the saga. It will never be topped, if anythingjust for the line that you posted. Vader had all the great lines in that film. The force is with you young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet. You have learned much, young one! Your destiny lies...

Guys, it is really spelled PWNED. Just to clarify. And also, I am ashamed of myself for having typed that, as that expression annoys me to death as I hear it everywhere I go and every board I read except for HTF. It is always my escape from that phrase.

And in the novel, when Palps tells Anakin to kill Dooku, doesnt Dooku say to palps "but you promised me amnesty" or something like that. And am I the only one who found it funny how Palpatine changed from "good anakin! Good!...Kill him." Also loved how Palpatine played up the whole feeble old...

I just got back from my third viewing and just happened to see it while glancing around the screen. I wasnt really looking for any hidden stuff, but it just popped out big time to me this time. And I am so happy they ended this series on a high quality note. So happy.

Without reading all the posts(I am lazy), did anyone else notice the Millenium Falcon in one of the shots on Coruscant? It was when Obi Wan and Anakin were landing in the shuttle after landing the cruiser. As their transport lands and the politicians are coming to greet Palpatine, in the bottom...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I agree too. But I liked the change of pace, kind of made it feel NOT like a Star Wars movie for a bit, like its own animal. Then as the film ended, and all the old familiar themes came back into play, it felt as if the two trilogies were melding together finally. And Battle of the Heroes...

In spite of Luke saying "your real mom" I ALWAYS took Leia's response to mean she was talking about her adoptive mother. Like Leia didnt know any different. Ever since the 80s I always took it to mean Leia remembered her adoptive mother, but didnt know she was adopted.

Speaking of music again, Anakin's Betrayal is a wonderful track. Another great one is Anakin's Dark Deeds, or whatever it was called. And I loved the music played when Obi Wan asked Padme where to find Anakin. The right build up of music to his final "Then I am so sorry" line as he walks to his...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

I thought the effects were amazing this time. Only once or so did they seem like tacked on backgrounds, I barely had to remind myself they were fake. Great job. The contrast in the cinematography was great too. Loved the shot of Obi Wan standing there with the eclipsed sun in the background...

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)

One of my favorite dramatic moments was during the big duel between Anakin and Obi Wan, where Obi Wan is telling him "I have failed you Anakin, and I am sorry" before they resume the battle.
