It's been awhile since I have dealt with their customer service, but I had two horrible experiences with them. The last time, I had a trouble ticket that was supposedly escalated just sit there with no updates for 9 months, and then was simply closed at their end.

That's Vudu's standard operating procedure for any issues sent to customer support - - blame someone else. I've had terrible luck with their customer service. They make the cable TV and airline industries look good in comparison.
This worked well for me with The Hustler. I originally bought it from Vudu as part of their "disc to digital" program, only to discover their version was 1.33:1 instead of the OAR. After Movies Anywhere came to be, I was able to watch the film properly via Amazon Prime.
