I think it's highly unlikely that there would be four undefeated teams going into the bowl games. A much more likely scenario is what we've seen in the past -- either one undefeated team and a whole bunch of one-loss teams, or zero unbeatens.

FYI, Central Michigan was the preseason favorite to win their division in the MAC. The Chippewas are actually a decent team this season. I'd put them at a similar level to East Carolina and Cincinnati.

Personally, I like the college rule over the NFL rule. In the pros, the PAT is the only time that the defense has no opportunity to score. It always seems like such an empty finish to a play when the whistle blows while the ball is loose on an NFL PAT. The concerns over Michigan's offense...

I only watched the first half of that game, and I agree. The SC quarterback was terrible, and the Gamecocks committed penalty after penalty. NC State wasn't any better.
