Still can't play Lucy. Warcraft menus are all dicked up because of The Vizio Panel tho, All Universal disks that actually play cannot show menus, but you can get past them and watch the movie as long as you arent using calibrated modes. It's fucking stupid.

So far so good with the replacement, no stutters! Edit2: And Lucy looks like a dead on arrival disk, it won't play in either my X1S OR 8500 deck. Others work fine tho. Paging Amazon!

Well my 1S which had been stuttering for a few days is now showing this: Frozen X1s by Sam Posten III, on Flickr That's it stuck on loading Lucy. It goes into a black error screen when I eject it. I have the replacement here from Amazon and it's patching now. Will post back if this one is...

Correct. Disks are messed up. Still haven't opened the replacement but will give it all one more shot tomorrow night before I do. My game time has been short and all on PC this week

They arent rated the same tho. Amazon basic High Speeds are rated for max HDMI 1.4 speeds.

This is categorically not true and I say that as someone who believed as you did until last tuesday. Apparently it really does require materials and checks to ensure that cables are capable of sufficient bandwith for HDMI 2.0. I don't understand it but it's reality.

Current theory: high speed HDMI cables are too slow, need actual HDMI 2.0 certified cables. Arriving Sunday with my replacement X1s. If they do the trick I won't even unbox it, will just return

I confirmed its not just Now you see me. On my X1s Mad Mad playback dips into single digit frames per second playback. I've hard rebooted it a dozen times and confirmed no other apps are resident in memory. I might be defective I guess if nobody else is seeing it... Want me to take a video of...

No way, it looks slick as hell in person. Like a white 2001 monolith. Testing now, having a little issue where my P50 loses sync with the X1S same as my 8500 did, but more often. Going to turn off CEC and see if that helps.
