Oh, no way. I agree with the above post.
Serialized television works, when it is done in the style of a Babylon 5 or Deep Space Nine, but not like Discovery or any of the other 100 serialized shows on the air today. The current shows tell a story that could have (and used to be) told in an...
So much fun, and so many great references to Star Trek history. I think my favorite is the appearance of Balok from TOS, and the captain thinking he's a puppet.
Nice reveal from Mariner too,and we can start to understand what's going on with her. Sometimes you just have to tell your problems...
While I enjoyed this episode and our crew in particular, I'm pretty tired of Peanut Hamper and the other evil machines. I feel like annual visits to these characters are too much.
This one was great. Loved seeing Rom and Leeta again, and the visit to Ferenginar was a joy. Hilarious subplot with Tendi and Rutherford. Everything about last night’s show worked.
I was never a Voyager fan. It’s the one show I just never warmed to, for a variety of reasons. But the first episode last night was great. I’m not sure I remembered every reference in the show, but it was hilarious.
The second episode was equally good. What comes through in every episode is...
I enjoyed the finale and the whole season. I’ve said repeatedly that this is a show made by people who love Star Trek and it shows. I will look forward to the next season all year.
Great episode tonight, with more callbacks to previous episodes and movies than I could keep up with. Even with all that, it managed to tell a good story (some very good writing there, especially at the end), and set up something for the future. Nice guest star appearance too.
This was kinda fun, but still the weakest episode of the season. It seemed like a back door pilot for a Peanut Hamper show (surely not…?) — the kind of thing you’d see in the 70s.
Hopefully the show gets back on track for its last three episodes this season.
This was a terrific episode that was enjoyable on several levels — the greatest of which was seeing DS9 again.
This show continues to be a joy for people who love Star Trek.
The poster is a virtual replica of the poster for The Search For Spock, with Rutherford in Spock’s place. So, we’re obviously on some kind of journey of discovery wrt Rutherford.
Last night’s episode was another winner. I like the mystery surrounding Rutherford and I think - given the clues in the season’s poster - we’ll be finding out more on him soon.
Nope.
I enjoyed the new season premiere. Especially liked that the cliffhanger from last season wasn’t dragged out over the season and was resolved. Huge Search For Spock vibes in this one.
Season 3 starts August 25!

It’s got this familiar yet awesome poster to go with it:
Season 3 this summer; a fourth season is confirmed.

The translation of the Klingon title is "Three Ships."
BTW, I think Paramount will be issuing blu-rays of their shows - especially the Trek shows - for a good while. Warner too. It's those Disney shows you need to worry about. Disney seems to be the only company that turns down extra money...
