Rough news for Jeremy Renner. Hoping he’s going to be okay. Other reports say he lost a lot of blood.

Interesting development for the Echo show, which will bring back some of the writers from Netflix’s Daredevil and The Punisher.

I don’t see the big deal: in the MCU, I see nothing here that keeps Agents of Shield from being canon.
Loved the finale. This is my favorite Marvel series so far. I just love the tone, as well as the sharp writing. Every episode was just a joy. Hailee Steinfeld was the show’s MVP. If I recall...
We know from the initial previews that the final episode of Hawkeye will take place, in part, at Rockefeller Center at night -- which is exactly where Spider-Man: No Way Home ended, with Spider-Man swinging past the tree. I highly doubt we will see Spider-Man in Hawkeye, but it has to be about...
^Well, for one thing, the stuff that Clint told Echo about who wanted her father dead likely will not be addressed until Echo’s own series. Not sure when that one is coming, but soon, I hope, because she’s an intriguing character.
Agreed - except that I think Hawkeye is taking place in December 2024. The "Happy New Year 2025" posters are celebrating the new year that is about to begin. That would place it a few months - maybe even weeks - after No Way Home. Marvel doesn't usually jump around that much, and a year between...
Killer episode. Such sharp writing; I often wonder if I’m missing something, it all goes by so fast.
Great opening. Yelena is a great character and this opening, plus the scene in Kate’s apartment, really gave her a chance to shine.
Thrilled about the ending, which is a direction I’ve been...

Expectations for Episode 5 are high...
Another terrific episode. This is easily becoming my favorite D+ Marvel show.
My favorite moment is when the dog comes into the apartment and sticks his head right in the bowl of cheez-its.
The reverse was also true. Alfre Woodard was (so, so good) in Luke Cage after she'd been seen in Civil War. Also, reports are that Mahershala has been working out for his role in Blade, which suggests he will not look like he did in Luke Cage.
I never saw the Wesley Snipes Blade movies, but I...
Kevin Feige confirms that Charlie Cox is the MCU’s Daredevil. He does not say when we might see him.
This makes D’Onofrio’s return much, much more likely.

Regarding what I said above about the Punisher being difficult to get into the MCU, Jon Bernthal says that while he’d like to revisit the character, he doesn’t really see it working in the PG-13 MCU.

There were two ways to get that reference: One was to know D’Onofrio’s size, stature and voice and to see the bits on social media (that’s how I got it), while the other was to know Echo’s backstory and her relationship to the Kingpin from the comics. I believe there are also Kingpin references...
I don't think that matters. If Jessica and the others hear/see references to the MCU movies, they would have to exist concurrently. Canon is a matter of opinion, if you ask me. For me, they inhabit the same universe.
Exactly what I was going to say. Wonderful show. Hitting all the right notes.
As someone who watched - and loved - the Netflix shows, I don't think it will be that hard to incorporate as much as they wanted to from those shows, and I think most of it can be done easily without sacrificing a...
Loved the second episode. Kate is one of the best Marvel characters to emerge in quite a while.
Regarding the character at the end, I did gather she’s deaf. I wondered if Clint’s youngest son was too.
I’m sure looking forward to it.
Maybe the concentration on Eternals marketing meant they couldn’t focus on Hawkeye right now. But it has all the signs of being something great.
What really made the trailer work is the music, which I believe is Andy Williams’ version of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. It’s those horns! Yow!
