This is confirmation of a story that was rumored at least a year or two ago. That's great to see! Just yesterday, my son was saying how Nick Fury should have more to do in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I agree. Pretty sure they’d have to give a credit to the writers of the Fox films if they used that character, which is something I cannot see happening.
Word is that Evan Peters will be in WandaVision in a significant way. You'll all remember that Peters played Quicksilver in Fox's X-Men movies, and was one of the best things about the films he was in. Of course, no mention is made whether he will be playing the same character...
Yes, I think having it in 2020 is a good idea. First, 2020 only has three Marvel projects: Black Widow, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, and The Eternals. Four if you count WandaVision.
2021 has four films: Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange 2, Spider-Man 3, and Thor: Love and Thunder. 2021 also has...
I do question Disney for bringing this show out next August (2020) however. There's not much new television in August, mainly because a lot of people are on vacation. August is a huge month for vacation time. Around here, the courts practically shut down in August, since so many are away. Also...
Looks like Hulu is the new home for the more adult Marvel TV shows. Variety reports that Marvel will have a Ghost Rider series and a Helstrom series ("Son of Satan," "Satana") on Hulu in 2020. Ghost Rider looks likely to be played by Gabriel Luna, who played the character on Agents of SHIELD...
Indeed. Disney+ is going to make CBS AA look really bad by comparison. The ad version of CBS AA is the same price as Disney+, which has a lot more content, especially original content, and is ad-free.
Feige was at the Disney investor day and unveiled the first four Marvel shows for Disney+:
Wanda-Vision, the show starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany
Falcon & Winter Soldier, starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan

As we suspected, the Disney+ Marvel shows will be produced by Marvel Studios, not Marvel Television, according to Kevin Feige. He says it will include past, present and future MCU characters.

I think Marvel TV has been great. I have enjoyed all of the Netflix shows, which I look forward to with great anticipation each time, and I love Agents of Shield and Agent Carter (which I hope is brought back). Yes, the Inhumans was lacking, but that's about the only miss I see.
Sean, your signature reminds me: This could be the way we get Season 3 of Agent Carter.
Remember, Marvel said they didn't want to cancel it, and all they needed was a network.
Variety reports that Marvel will produce shows for Disney's new streaming service. One will feature Tom Hiddleston as Loki and another will have Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch. There will be others too. Each series is expected to have 6 to 8 episodes...
