It sounds like they may have found a replacement for that cancelled Rangers… show.
FWIW, I stumbled on this when I saw Ming-Na Wen congratulating Katee Sackoff on Twitter.

The new Disney Gallery episode is out, and it's about the season 2 finale of the Mandalorian. And it's great! Just when I thought I'd figured out everything and how they did it all, I see that almost none of it was correct.
Also, Favreau recognizes the potential dangers of Deep Fake and he's...
It’s being reported that Carl Weathers said at a convention this weekend that Season 3 will start filming in September.
if that’s the case, we are unlikely to see The Mandalorian return until late 2022.
I saw this news recently. It just occurred to me today that this could signal the return of Luke Skywalker in Season 3.

I also see that Ben Mendelsohn is joining the cast of Andor, as Krennic.

In a joint interview with Ewan McGregor yesterday, Pedro Pascal said that season 3 of The Mandalorian has not yet started filming. That makes it a near certainty that the show will not air this year...
Take this with a grain of salt, despite the "confirmed" bit in the title, but it's said that George Lucas will be writing for one of Disney+'s Star Wars series.
Allegedly it is for the Andor series, which I don't find plausible, since that is being shepherded by Tony Gilroy...
Some fans on Twitter are pushing for Lucy Lawless to take over the role. If they were going to recast, she’d be great. Even if they were going with a new character, she’d be great.
I wonder if the Rangers... show will have to be reworked, of if they are already reworking it.
Just the other day, my son asked me why, if there are so many Marvel shows coming one after the other, there aren't Star Wars shows coming one after the other? I told him to be patient. I suspect the...
The news gets worse for Ms. Carano. She has been dropped by her agency as well:

It’s one thing to express political opinions in either direction. It’s another entirely to spread false rumors, support violence and overthrow of the government and make negative statements about a particular religion.
Clint Eastwood has expressed conservative opinions for years. It doesn’t get...
Word floating around tonight says the Boba Fett show will feature “other familiar bounty hunters.” No word on who, but with Filnoi’s involvement, I think you can count on Cad Bane. Of course, these guys keep giving fans what they want, so the gang of bounty hunters from Empire Strikes Back will...
Watched the new Disney Gallery: Making of the Mandalorian Season 2. It was great, just like the first season.
But is this this only installment of the show? Last year's had 8 half-hour installments. This was an hour and covered the entire season. I have to believe there is more. Anyone know?
Here's a question: Where was R2-D2 during Anakin/Vader's attack on the Jedi Temple in ROTS? Could he have saved Grogu, as the fan theory suggests? I recall C-3PO being with Padme in her apartment (in that sequence with some gorgeous cinematography), but I can't remember where R2-D2 was. Was he...
HBO certainly never lost any revenue by putting Game of Thrones and the Sopranos on DVD/blu-ray. Instead, their subscriptions numbers rose to all-time highs, and as a bonus, they made money off of their (premium priced) discs.
Yes, that account is definitely suspect, so take the tweet with a grain of salt.
I do hope they do a physical release. Star Wars physical media always sells well and Disney is not known for leaving money on the table.
There was a rumor that season 1 would be on Blu-ray in 2021. It was from Screenrant or Den of Geek, and it’s posted earlier in this thread. Remains to be seen if it will happen. I hope it does. There was never any rumor, though, of a 4K release.
Edit: it was Den of Geek. Here’s their Tweet from...
Pretty sure it was mentioned on the Disney Investor day that Andor would be in '22. Plus, filming starts in January and it's 12 episodes (a lot for a Disney streamer), so early '22 seems more likely. But I would certainly welcome it sooner.
Came upon this today too, speaking of spinoffs. I do...
