    IMO, you put waaayyy too much faith in bean counters. There's only been 3 home movie formats previous. VHS can't be used as a benchmark because it wasn't managed well from the begining, Laserdisc can't be used because it held extreme niche status, DVD could be but no one ever tried releasing...
