I'm a sucker for those Nazi Payback theme shows as I've stated on here b4 that The Deadly Guinea Pig is my favorite NC...just like "Judgment Night" and "Deaths-Head Revisited" are among my fav TZs.
Season 4 also had four outstanding classic episodes rivaling season two's best to it's credit, IMO.....and none of these were romantic comedies
Robin Hood and Clarence Darrow, They Went Out With Bow and Arrow
Prime of Life
The Highest of Prizes
On the Battlefront, Every Minute Is Important
What a guest star list....and I know that I'm leaving quite a few out.....
Dustin Hoffman, Gene Hackman, Robert Redford, Carroll O'Connor, William Shatner, Burgess Meredith, Robert Duvall, Ed Asner, Suzanne Pleshette, Eddie Albert, Robert Culp, Steven Hill, David Janssen, Rip Torn, Eli Wallach...
I think I failed to mention how much I love the music that usually ends the 1/2 hour episodes....really catches the romance and flavor of late 50's New York City. Gosh...I've have wanted this set to be a reality for so long that I still have to pinch myself....newest episodes not remastered...
Finally got around to opening my set from Wal-Mart....it was busted up pretty bad. The discs were not damaged from what I could see so I'll put them in a storage device for safe keeping.
Agreed but back to the guys....Burke displayed more humanity and depth...IMO....my wife would agree as well. He and Horace really made the hourlies better as did Bellaver when given some material. The music and Lawrence Dobkin intros...were icing on the cake. That being said...those gritty...
I have seen all the Naked City episodes over the years...by hook or by crook....and I loved McIntire's Muldoon....almost a policeman with a grandpa's perspective...very human and not arresting almost criminals that truly were not...just had a very weak and perhaps justifiable moment...Lee...
I was just funnin' with y'all. I have two DVD cabinets about 4 foot tall that holds all my collection. The fellow that brought up VHS is correct...if our collection were converted to VHS...most of us might have to build us a Sam's Warehouse.
Yes...I have read how you use these binders to save space...but paranoid me....worries that I might make it too easy for a thief to cart off with my vintage TV collection....such that it is.
Are you guys having to add on to your homes to store all these vintage TV DVD Sets or are there lots of lawyers, doctors in here??? If not, are y'all expert stock traders or what?
Any comments from folks that ordered Naked City from Wal-Mart ???
My tracking says my order just left Dallas, TX this morning....still shows a delivery date of 14 Nov.
I'm showing a Nov 14-Nov 16 delivery by Wal-Mart so it will probably not ship until around 8-9 Nov...so I wouldn't expect a change of order status until about that time.
