Sara....nobody....I mean nobody....could touch your dad as a host for a horror series....his presence alone as one poster put it...made the purchase of the set worth it. Nobody contributed more to the horror genre....nobody....although Chaney Sr certainly gets an honorable mention.

I know Karloff opposed the monster speaking...but thank goodness he was outvoted. The Bride of Frankenstein will always be my favorite film of the genre. I marvel every time I watch it. Thank you James Whale....thank you Boris Karloff for giving us three Frankenstein classics...b4 LC Jr killed...
