There never was a 260-minute version.
The catalog card at The Library of Congress lists the footage as 20,000 feet for their 35mm print, which would match the duration given in the Catalog of Copyright Entries of 221 minutes.

I have searched the internet and cannot find the scene in a movie where an male actor is running around telling people that Jesus Christ has risen. Anyone remember that scene and what movie it's from?
Only flat 2.2 70mm prints were created. Only Cinerama theatres could show 2.76 and they were showing other film titles that were promoted as being in Cinerama, although 70mm Cinerama not 3-panel.
HD master from the 65mm negative? That's probably the only way we will get the full Ultra Panavision 2.76 AR. We do have that AR for the following on Blu-ray:
