The Juror is a pretty good movie. I re-watched the DVD a few weeks ago. Men Of Respect I've never seen but it sounds interesting. There was a previous film called Joe Macbeth which also placed the drama within a crime setting.
Is the Bobby Darrin mentioned on the cover of the Ironside set the Bobby Darin who had big hits with Dream Lover and Mack The Knife and then went on to become a movie actor?
Makes me happy. I saw it when it first came out but never since. I can still remember Brad Dexter saying "sold" to his young colleague but I recall little else.
I'll wait for reviews etc. but that "Hitchcock remake" set interests me. I prefer that version of The Thirty-Nine Steps to Hitchcock's and the remake of The Lady Vanishes - photographed by Douglas Slocombe - is pretty good, It also has Angela Lansbury which is always a bonus.

Just to remind anyone who may have forgotten: The Molly Maguires has already been released on Blu-ray disc by Paramount. I have that disc and it's excellent. (So too is the film, in my opinion. It deserves a new audience)
I'll be very interested to hear what people think of the picture quality...
Ah, so that's it: your feelings were hurt. Well, for the rest of us it's all water under the bridge and your relentless rehashing of the issue is boring.
I have a few of Sony's own Blu-ray discs which are alleged to be BD-Rs, and all of them play perfectly with zero drawbacks. Warner Archive's DVD series is DVD-Rs and the big joke is that they are more consistently reliable and long-lasting than Warner's pressed DVDs.
