Thanks for pointing that out, Robert. Sounds like the only real bitch about Rose's place in the HOF is that he doesn't get the "honors" that are "due" him, instead of "just" recognition of his records and accomplishments.

Saying "I don't like those bad old baseball writers" does absolutely NOTHING to excuse, mitigate, or absolve Rose of ANYTHING.

I don't think Richie Garcia and Frank Pulli belong in the HOF. Neither does Rose. Attacking the integrity of others does absolutely nothing to absolve Rose of anything. He is a lying, arrogant scumbag not deserving of honor, and no amount of "I don't think much of so and so" changes that.
